RT8870A是应用于AMD SVI移动CPU电源供应的双输出PWM控制器。RT8870A提供一个两相PWM控制器给CPU内核（VDD）和一个单相PWM控制器以驱动CPU的北桥部分（VDDNB）。两相PWM控制器因应用的灵活性，可配置于单相PWM控制器。此产品整合三个MOSFET驱动器，并与AMD稳压器规范完全相容，可以满足AMD移动CPU供电需求。<br>RT8870A采用立锜专有的 G-NAVP<sup>TM</sup> (Green-Native AVP，绿能原生适应性电压定位) 技术和 CCRCOT（Constant Current Ripple Constant On-Time，固定电流涟波固定导通时间）控制架构。CCRCOT控制对整个输入/输出范围提供优异的输出电压纹波性能。G-NAVP<sup>TM</sup> 使产品易于设定、控制，可满足 AMD 移动 CPU 的所有压降要求。其压降特性可通过对误差放大器的直流增益进行设定而实现。通过适当的补偿，负载瞬态响应可以实现优化的AVP性能。VDD和VDDNB输出都可以选择压降功能。RT8870A使用串列VID介面（SVI）进行单独的控制器输出电压和运行模式设计。内置的高精准度DAC可以将串列VID代码转换为精准度为0.8%的0.5V至1.55V输出电压。本产品支援VID即时和运行模式转换，完全符合AMD规范的即时功能。VDD和VDDNB控制器都提供二极体模拟模式，以在节能模式下提高轻负载条件下的效率。<br>RT8870A支援电感 DCR 和电阻电流检测，还提供power good指示和完整的故障保护功能，包括过压、超出规格、负电压、过压、欠压锁定和热关断。<br>RT8870A采用WQFN-40L 5x5小型封装。
