RT8894A是多相PWM控制器，此外符合AMD SVI2 电压调节器规范，可以同时为CPU内核（VDD）和其北桥部分（VDDNB）供电。它采用立锜专有的 G-NAVP (Green-Native AVP) 技术和 CCRCOT（Constant Current Ripple Constant On-Time，固定电流涟波固定导通时间）控制架构，易于设定、控制，可满足 AMD AVP (Adaptive Voltage Positioning) VDD/VDDNB 的所有要求。其压降特性可通过对误差放大器的直流增益进行设定而实现；使用适当的补偿设计，符合 AVP 性能要求的瞬态回应特性也很容易获得。</br>RT8894A使用SVI2介面控制8位元DAC设定输出电压及操作模式，及支援动态平台主，I<SUP>2</SUP>C介面采用先进的配置及监控。RT8894A特色在于具有可程式设计的功率级距于不同操作相数，包含超频偏移、开关频率、负载线及保护设定组合。平台主可根据不同工作脚本，通过I<SUP>2</SUP>C介面优化功率的表现及效能。</br>RT8894A还提供了电源准备好指示信号、过流指示信号以及两种过流保护机制，完善的故障保护功能亦包含其中，如过压保护、欠压保护和负压保护。
