RT9042 是设计用于可在很低输入电压下以很低的压差输出高达 3A 峰值电流的高性能电压调节器，其输入电压可低达 1V，在 3V 的 VDD 电压下可输出低达 0.8V 的可程式设计电压。其突出特性为低压差性能，可以使用在 VOUT 非常接近 VIN 的应用中。它有一个使能端子，可经此使之进入关机状态以降低其消耗。它可在全输入范围、全负载范围和全温度范围内具有优异的电压调节性能，还具有一个输出准备好信号以指示其输出电压达到了额定电压的 90% 以上以方便使用。RT9042 可以 SOP-8 和 SOP-8（含裸露的散热焊盘）的封装形式供货，输出电压有 1.05V、1.2V、1.5V、1.8V 和 2.5V 等版本，它们也同时可以使用外部电阻进行电压设定。
