RT9120 是使用 I<sup>2</sup>S 输入介面的 D 类身历声音讯功率放大器，具有以 2x20W 功率驱动 BTL 连接的 8Ω 扬声器的能力，驱动效率可高达 92%，无需使用散热器材辅助散热。它内置的防爆裂音功能，能减少所有情况下出现爆裂噪音的可能性 。其内置的保护电路能提供过热、过流、过压和欠压等保护，同时能提供错误状态报告服务。</br>RT9120 的三线式介面能接受来自各种使用标准 I<sup>2</sup>S 介面的外部信号源，资料可以是左对齐和右对齐的，信号采样频率可从 8kHz-192kHz，支援 Master 模式和 Slave 模式，完全可程式控制的资料路由能力能将这些资料顺利送达扬声器驱动电路。</br>RT9120 内含 DRC 和灵活的输入混响能力，其输出功率也有限制。
