RT9172 系列低压差线性稳压器可在 2.25V-6V 输入下工作，有很宽范围的输出电压已预设好的版本可供选用。这些低压差的线性稳压器对负载的快速变化具有很快的回应速度，适合于低压 MCU 使用。它使用内置的 P-MOSFET 作为调整元件，在重载和直通状态下也不会有更多的地电流出现。关机状态下很低的电流消耗使之适合节能系统使用。此外，它还具有电流限制保护和过热保护功能。
