RT9206为低单价，整合了PWM电压模式的降压型转换器控制器、两组高压型线性控制器的多组整合型转换器控制器，可直接驱动外部的N-MOSFET简易的实现具高效率与低价位的电源解决方案。电压模式的控制回路以及具备外部补偿网路的固定频率操作，在宽操作范围内提供了更佳的稳定性。可调的操作频率最高达600kHz可减少所需电感大小与PCB的设计面积。可适用于宽输入电压范围(4.75V至 28V)与多组输出的应用。线性控制器的特色为设计自由度高，输出功率的大小可借由所选择的N-MOSFET 决定，输出电压可由外接的电阻分压进行设计。0.8V的参考电压可满足大多数的设计应用。低电压闩锁功能可提供输出有效的保护。RT9206提供完整的保护功能:缓启动、过电流保护、过电压与低电压保护。可借由所选择的MOSFET以决定电流限制的大小。同步降压型控制模式借由开启低端MOSFET以达到过电压保护机制，防止在异常的过电压产生时，毁坏终端装置的情形发生。
