RT9296是一款 Boost 架构升压转换器，采用固定频率的 PWM 控制器和同步整流器以获得效率的最大化，可用于以单节、两节碱性电池、镍氢/镍铬电池为电源的产品中。当转换器处于轻载状态下时，此转换器将进入节能模式以维持高转换效率，以此保证在任何负载条件下的高效率运作。RT9296的输出电压可由外部电阻分压器进行设定，也可提供固定电压的版本。在没有被使能的情况下，它的消耗极低，其输出可被完全切断以阻止其消耗任何电能。转换器功率开关的峰值电流被限定在2A。当转换器进入电流不连续模式时，RT9296可进入低EMI模式（抗振铃模式）以降低开关节点的振铃信号，这一功能是可选的。此外，RT9296还集成了一个线性控制器以实现线性稳压器的功能。
