RT9450A 是低成本的开关模式单节锂离子/聚合物电池充电器，它将同步 PWM 控制器、功率 MOSFET 开关、输入电流检测、高精度电流、电压调节和充电终止等功能全部集成在单晶片中，同时具有支援 USB-OTG 应用的能力，非常适合空间小巧的可擕式产品使用。它以优化的演算法完成充电任务，可以根据不同的模式改变充电速率，其中包括了预充模式、快充模式和恒压充电模式。所有的充电参数均可通过 I<sup>2</sup>C 介面进行控制，其中就包括了充电截止的最低电流阈值、提供安全备份的具有复位控制能力的安全计时器、向主机报告充电状态的指示器等。在正常操作期间，一旦电池电压下降到低于内设的阈值，RT9450A 即自动重启充电回圈；若输入电源被移除，它就自动进入睡眠模式。它还具有欠压保护、过压保护、温度调整和过冷/过温保护、反向漏电保护等特性。其封装为 WL-CSP-20B 2x2(BSC)。
