RT9525 是拥有自动路径管理（ APPM ）功能的集成化单节锂离子电池充电 IC 。它不需使用外部 MOSFET 。在电源被移除后， RT9525 即进入睡眠模式。 它以优化的控制演算法采用预充模式、快充模式和恒压模式改变充电策略完成充电任务。 RT9525 的充电电流可由外部电阻进行设置，它的内部热回馈电路则对内核温度进行调节以确保在任何可用工作温度范围内都以最佳的速率进行充电，而它的充电任务的终止总是以恒压模式下的充电电流降低到 I<sub>CHG_FAST</sub> 的 20% 为准。 RT9525 的其它特性包括 VIN 端的输入电压欠压保护和过压保护功能。
