RT9728B 是针对 USB 应用的电流限制阈值可调高侧功率开关 IC，内部含有单一的 P 型 MOSFET 功率开关，具有成本低、可低压工作等特性。其开关导通阻抗仅约 120mΩ（典型值），自身电流消耗仅约 120μA，仅需一只外接电阻便可对其电流限制阈值在 75mA-1.8A 间进行调节，阈值设置精度可达 ±10%，在故障状态下可输出指示信号向系统控制器报警。它内含延迟回应设计，可避免大电流冲击造成错误的操作，是 USB 电源供应系统的理想选择，同时可以可变的电流限制特性支援各种灵活的应用设计。其封装形式为 SOT-23-6 和 WDFN-6L 2x2。
