RT1718 是集成度很高的 TCPC 控制器，內含符合 IEC-61000-4-2 標準的 ESD 防護單元對 CC/SBU/DP/DM 進行保護。它還集成了可對 SBU1/SBU2/DP/DM 進行過壓保護的開關以避免與臨近的 VBUS 接觸時可能存在的高壓所帶來的傷害，過壓保護能力達 24V，使 DP/DM 可以使用在需要支援高壓的 DCP 埠以實施快充協定。</br>RT1718 帶有 GPIO 端子，可對外接 P-MOSFET 進行控制以實現用電端和供電端的 VBUS 路徑控制，亦可通過內部集成的電荷泵驅動外接 N-MOSFET 實現同一功能，也可將其配置為 USB3.0 介面所需要的 DP Mux 控制信號以支援替換模式的啟用。</br>RT1718 為 VCONN 開關配備了過壓保護、過流保護、RVP 和欠壓保護。RPD_CC1/CC2 是電池失效模式電阻 Rd 引腳，它們獨立於 CC1/CC2，可滿足不同使用者對系統靈活性的需求。</br>RT1718 以 WQFN-32L 4x4 封裝供貨。
