RT3601 是集成了一個驅動器的 IMVP8 相容 CPU 用電源控制器，它採用立錡專有的以有限直流增益誤差放大器為核心的電流模式控制架構的 G-NAVP™ 技術，具有易於設定電壓隨載下降參數的特性，滿足所有 Intel CPU 對 AVP (Adaptive Voltage Positioning, 自我調整電壓定位) 性能的需求，在負載瞬變期間有快速回應機制以實現優化的 AVP 性能。其串列 VID 介面可與 Intel IMVP8 相容 CPU 進行通訊，可以快速、慢速和自然變換共三種不同的速度支援 VID 的即時變換。即使在 CCM 模式下工作期間，其工作頻率也能隨著 VID、負載和輸入電壓的不同而自動變化，從而獲得最佳的效率改善效果。通過將 G-NAVP™ 技術與 CCRCOT （Constant Current Ripple COT, 固定電流紋波 COT）技術相結合，它在整個輸入、輸出範圍內都能獲得最佳的輸出電壓紋波表現。其內建的高精度 DAC 可將 SVID 編碼變換為 0.25V~1.52V 的輸出電壓，級差僅為 5mV。其內建的高精度 ADC 可用於平臺參數的設定，快速回應觸發電平即是通過這種方法進行設定的，兩個電壓軌的通道位址也可通過設定功能進行交換。它還提供 VR Ready 輸出信號，還具有完善的故障保護功能如過壓保護、欠壓保護、過流保護和欠壓鎖定保護等。其封裝形式為 WQFN-28L 4x4。
