RT3609是根據Intel IMVP8相容CPU的需求設計的含有串列VID控制介面的電源管理器件，其中包含兩個電壓軌控制器，一個是名為CORE VR的6/5/4/3相同步Buck控制器，一個是名為AXG VR的2/1相同步Buck控制器。它採用立錡專有的基於有限直流增益誤差放大器的電流模式控制架構的G-NAVP™(Green Native AVP)控制技術，非常容易設定輸出電壓隨載下降參數以滿足Intel CPU對AVP（Adaptive Voltage Positioning，自我調整電壓定位）的 需求，具有全新的AQR（Adaptive Quick Response，自我調整快速回應）機制去優化輸出電容很少的條件下的負載瞬變期間的AVP性能。它支援不同運行狀態下的模式變換功能，有內含的串列VID介面與Intel IMVP8相容CPU進行通訊，可以以快速、慢速和自然變化三種速度支援VID在運行中的改變功能，即使在CCM模式下的工作頻率也可根據VID、負載和輸入電壓的不同而自動調節以優化轉換效率。它將CCRCOT（Constant Current Ripple COT，固定電流紋波COT）技術與G-NAVP™技術結合，在整個輸入、輸出範圍內都能提供極佳的輸出電壓紋波表現。它內置高精度D/A轉換器，可將串列輸入的VID編碼以5mV的級差變換為0V~1.52V的輸出電壓，還有高精度的A/D轉換器可進行ICCMAX、工作頻率、過流保護閾值和AQR觸發閾值等基礎參數和功能的設定。它還提供VR Ready和過熱指示信號，具有完整的故障保護功能如過壓保護、欠壓保護、過流保護和欠壓鎖定保護等等。它支援通過I<SUP>2</SUP>C介面進行熱平衡調節、動態負載線、電壓偏置參數、固定VID參數、保護上報、關閉保護和電流、PSYS、溫度上報等多種功能的設定。
