RT3612 是具有串列 VID 介面、與 Intel IMVP9 相容 CPU 配合使用的 2/1 相同步 Buck 控制器，使用了立錡獨有的以有限直流增益誤差放大器為基礎的電流模式控制架構（即 G-NAVP™ ，Green Native AVP 架構），具有易於設定輸出電壓隨載下降參數的特性，很容易滿足 Intel CPU 所需要的 AVP （Adaptive Voltage Positioning，自我調整電壓定位）性能要求。由於採用了 G-NAVP™ 架構，RT3612 具有全新的 AQR (Adaptive Quick Response) 快速回應機制,在輸出電容很少的條件下也能在回應負載瞬變時具有最佳的 AVP 性能。它支援在各種工作狀態下的模式變換功能，擁有可與 Intel IMVP9 相容 CPU 通信的串列 VID 介面，可以快速、慢速和自然變換三種速率支援 VID 即時變換（on-the-fly）功能。即使處於 CCM 電流連續模式下，其工作頻率也可根據 VID、負載和輸入電壓的不同而自動調節以維持轉換效率的最大化。它還將 CCRCOT （Constant Current Ripple COT，固定電流紋波 COT）技術與 G-NAVP™ 結合，在全輸入/輸出範圍內都具有最佳的輸出電壓紋波特性。其內建的高精度 DAC 可將串列 VID 編碼轉換為 0V~2.74V 的輸出電壓，級差僅有 10mV。它還集成有高精度 ADC 來完成平臺功能設定，可對 ICCMAX、工作頻率、過流限制閾值和 AQR 觸發電平等參數進行設定。它具有 VR Ready 和過熱指示功能，還具有過壓保護、欠壓保護、過流保護和欠壓鎖定保護等完備的故障保護功能設計。
