RT4803可讓化學電池的性能得到充分發揮，能在電池電壓低於系統電源IC所需電壓的時候將其剩餘電能最大化地挖掘出來。它通過將功率開關、同步整流開關和低耗電特性集合於一體，為使用鋰離子電池的系統提供了一個緊湊的解決方案。</br>RT4803內含Boost轉換器，即使鋰離子電池電壓低於系統設定的最小值也能為系統提供滿足需要的最低電壓。在Boost工作模式下，其輸出負載能力達2000mA。在關機模式下，靜態耗電低於1μA，可將電池使用時間最大化。其Booat模式與旁通模式之間的切換是平滑的，可以為了降低靜態電流而強制器件進入旁通模式。</br>RT4803的封裝形式為WL-CSP-16B 1.67x1.67 (BSC)。推薦的結溫範圍為-40°C至125°C，環境溫度範圍為-40°C至85°C。
