RT6154 是高效率的單電感 Buck-Boost 轉換器，可在電池之類的寬輸入電壓範圍內工作，解決輸入電壓可能高於、也可能低於輸出電壓的問題，電流輸出能力可達 4A，開關電流峰值限制典型值在V<sub>IN</sub> = 3.6V時達到 5A，V<sub>IN</sub> = 2.1V時達到 2.6A。</br>無論處於 Buck 模式或 Boost 模式，其回授迴路的補償都在內部予以實現；兩個模式之間的轉換是平順無衝擊的；其瞬態響應特性是經過優化的。它以 2.4MHz 工作頻率進行全同步的操作，僅在低功率輸出時才進入 PSM 模式以提高效率，但這是可以被禁止的。它也可以被強制地與外部時鐘進行同步操作，該同步信號的頻率可在 2.2MHz~2.6MHz 之間。RT6154 的輸出電壓可用外部電阻分壓器進行設定，但 RT6154 的輸出電壓就是內部固定的，其值為 3.3V 。
