RT6238為高性能，操作頻率500kHz，8A輸出電流，內建功率開關與同步整流元件的降壓型DC/DC轉換器。藉由先進固定導通時間（ACOT™）模式控制的架構可在輸出使用小型封裝的陶瓷電容的情形下，達到穩定的操作與快速的暫態響應，此外並不需要外加複雜的補償元件。輸入電壓範圍4.5V至18V，輸出可調範圍0.7V至8V。專有的 ACOT™ 模式控制改善了一般固定導通時間控制架構的暫態響應特性，在輸入電壓、輸出電壓與負載變動的範圍內達到切換頻率近乎固定的操作。由於不是由內部時脈訊號進行開關切換的控制，電感電流可在不依賴採用大輸出電容的設計下快速的變化，達成瞬時的響應特性並調節穩定輸出電壓。RT6238可在輸出採用陶瓷電容的條件下達到穩定的優化設計，內部具備35mΩ的功率開關與 14mΩ 的同步整流元件，得以在不同的應用範圍內達到優越的轉換效率與工作特性，特別是在低責任週期與低電壓輸出的操作條件。此外，逐週期的限流機制對輸出短路狀況的保護、輸入低電壓鎖定、可外部調整設計的緩起動功能、輸出低電壓保護、輸出過電壓保護與過溫關機等保護機制功能，提供在所有工作條件下的安全與簡易操作方式。RT6238支援UQFN-14L 2x3 (FC)的封裝規格。
