RT7757 系列產品的設計目標是與 RT7220D 相似之控制器一起工作以構成一個支援 USB PD 或可程式控制電源適配器的完整方案，它因採用零電壓切換技術而具有很高的效率。<br>RT7757 通過使用一些創新的技術而帶來很寬的輸出電壓範圍，這些技術包括：(1)使用 DMAG 引腳對輸出電壓進行檢測，據此調節環路增益實現系統穩定、調節輸出過壓保護閾值以保護週邊元件、調節電流限制參數以滿足受限電源的安全性需求；(2)納入多種保護特性，如大電容 Brown-in/Brown-out 保護、VDD 過壓保護、輸出過壓/欠壓保護、次級整流器短路保護和週邊過熱保護等；(3)為實現輸出定功率保護而在 CS 引腳連接一隻電阻，它可在全輸入電壓範圍內帶來精確的輸入補償；(4)使用多種技術來應對次級側器件如 RT7206 或分流調節器出現故障時可能出現的問題。在實際的應用中，建議在次級側使用 RT7206 以確保設計的可靠性和安全性，以便在出現連接錯誤、電纜和插頭座故障時不致出現嚴重問題。
