RT8023包含兩組低壓差線性穩壓器(LDO)與一組輸入電壓範圍2.6V至5.5V的降壓型DC/DC轉換器，可調輸出電壓值0.8V至 5V。每組穩壓器具備獨立的致能(EN)與電源良好信號指示(PGOOD)腳位，可簡易的控制各組穩壓器的啟動順序。每組LDO有獨立的電源輸入並在低壓差輸出時可提供最大700mA(LDO1) 與350mA(LDO2)的電流輸出，並具備良好的電源抑制比(PSRR)，可使用低ESR的小型陶瓷電容進行節省電路面積的設計。所有上述優點使RT8023適用於高度要求電路特性與空間尺寸的RF與無線應用的可攜式裝置設計中。其它特色包括具備高輸出準確率、過電流保護與40μs的快速導通時間。採用PWM電流模式控制的降壓型轉換器，操作頻率1.2MHz。由於操作在高切換頻率，故可適用於採用價格較低廉、較小尺寸的電容與電感元件的應用電路設計中。內建低導通阻的功率開關，增進了整體效率並減少了需要外加蕭特基二極體的必要性，藉由近100%責任週期的操作提供了低壓差轉換的應用可有效延長掌上型裝置的電池使用壽命。
