RT8125 是具有轉換效率高、瞬態回應特性好、輸出電壓精度高的 PWM 控制器，可滿足筆記型電腦 CPU 內核、I/O 介面、晶片組及 RAM 對電源供應的需求。它所採用的 Richtek Mach Response™ 技術是對負載瞬變具有 100ns 及時回應能力的專門技術，可保持工作頻率的相對恒定。</br>RT8125 省略掉了傳統電流模式 PWM 控制架構需要的電流檢測電阻，在降低了成本的同時又收穫了高效率，更因具備驅動大型同步整流 MOSFET 的能力而強化了其效率表現，可以最高的效率直接將電池高電壓轉換為低電壓。它提供具有 1% 精度的 0.8V 參考電壓輸出，在高精度輸出的應用中具有最低 1mA 的電流吐納能力。
