RT8167 是集成了 MOSFET 驅動器的雙通道單相 PWM 控制器，符合 Intel IMVP7 脈衝寬度調製的規範要求，用於支援 CPU 內核和 GPU 內核的供電。它採用立錡專有的基於有限直流增益補償器的固定導通時間控制模式的 G-NAVP™ (Green-Native AVP) 控制技術，使之成為易於設定的 PWM 控制器以滿足 Intel AVP(Active Voltage Postioning) 移動式 CPU/GPU 的要求。它採用 SVID 介面以控制一個8位元 DAC 進行輸出電壓的設定，此內建的高精度 DAC 轉換器將接收到的 VID 編碼轉換為 0V~1.52V 的輸出電壓，電壓等級差異只有 5mV ，控制器的系統精度可達 0.8%。RT8167可工作在連續導通模式或二極體模擬模式，完全依照 SVID 的命令而定。在不同負載條件的不同工作模式下，最高轉換效率可達90%。通過對誤差放大器之流增益的設定，不同的壓降特性（負載線）可以很容易地獲得。借助合適的補償，可以獲得合適的瞬態回應特性以優化 AVP 的性能表現。輸出電壓的轉移速率可通過 SVID 介面進行設定。RT8167 支援 DCR 和電阻電流檢測方式，還為 IMVP7 CPU 和 GPU 內核提供 VR_READY 和熱調節輸出信號。該器件還包括了完整的故障保護功能，這包括過壓保護、欠壓保護、負壓保護、過流保護和熱關機保護。RT8167 的封裝是 小型的 WQFN-40L 5x5。
