RT8462 是一款電流模式 PWM 控制器，專為高電流 LED 應用設計，可驅動外部 MOSFET。內建電流感測放大器，其感測門檻電壓為 190mV，僅需透過一顆外部電流感測電阻即可設定 LED 驅動電流。RT8462 的最大輸入工作電壓可達 36V，輸出電壓最高可達 60V，因此非常適合降壓（Buck）、升壓（Boost）及升降壓（Buck-Boost）等拓撲應用。 開關頻率可透過外部元件設定於 100kHz 至 1MHz 範圍內，使系統能使用較小尺寸的電感與電容，同時維持高轉換效率。 調光功能支援類比調光（Analog Dimming）及數位調光（Digital Dimming）兩種方式。內建箝位比較器（Clamping Comparator）及濾波器，只需搭配一顆外接電容，即可將數位訊號轉換為低雜訊的類比調光控制訊號，簡化系統設計。 RT8462 提供 SOP-14 及 WQFN-16L（3mm × 3mm）封裝。
