RT8549 是一款高效率升壓轉換器，具備 4 通道 LED 驅動器，支援 60V 最大輸出電壓。它專為採用 LED 作為光源的 LCD 面板應用而設計。升壓轉換器可產生適當的輸出電壓，以並聯驅動四串 LED，且每串最多支援 18 顆 LED。RT8549 支援 4.2V 至 24V 的寬輸入電壓範圍，並提供 SMBus 介面以控制 LED 亮度調光模式、工作頻率與 LED 電流。內部 150mΩ、60V 功率開關搭配電流模式控制，可提供高效率運作。RT8549 採用 WDFN-16L 5x5 封裝，可實現針對 PCB 空間最佳化的解決方案。
