RT8560 是 60V、4通道 LED 驅動器，每個通道可輸出 30mA 電流，每個通道可以串聯15只 LED （以每只 LED 正向電壓為 3.6V 計），總共可以驅動 60 只 LED 。RT8560 採用了電流模式的 Boost 轉換器，其工作頻率為 1MHz，輸入電壓範圍為 7V~40V，片上開關電流上限為 1.5A。其 PWM 控制回路選擇具有最大正向電壓的 LED 串所連接的 LED 端子電壓作為輸出電壓的回饋控制端並將其穩定在 0.9V，以此適應不同 LED 串之間的電壓偏差。RT8560 自動對 LED 串的連接和開路、斷路狀況進行檢測，並將開路通道排除在控制回路之外，避免出現輸出過壓的狀況。所有 LED 串之間的電流不一致性誤差在 3% 以內，實際電流可用一隻電阻進行簡單的設置。RT8560 支援類比和數位式的 PWM 調光方法。類比調光方法是線性控制的，使用外部電壓即可控制實現。借助片內的輸出幅度受限的放大器和 200kΩ電阻，外加一隻電容即可形成低通濾波器，PWM 信號經此電路處理以後即可成為類比信號，從而實現無雜訊的 PWM 調光。純粹的 PWM 調光方法具有很高的對比度，這可通過對 EN 端施加 PWM 信號或是直接用 PWM 信號驅動 ACTL 端實現。RT8560 具有很多保護功能，其中有可程式設計的輸出電壓過壓保護、LED 電流限制、PWM 開關電流限制和熱關機保護。RT8560 的封裝是 WQFN-20L 4x4 。
