RT8561 是一款 40V、 8通道 LED 驅動器，能為每個通道最多10只串聯的 WLED 提供多達 30mA 的電流，單一 IC 即可驅動達 80 只 LED。它擁有一個工作在 1MHz 頻率的電流模式 Boost 轉換器，V<sub>IN</sub> 輸入電壓範圍寬達 6V~24V，集成了容許電流達 2.5A 的功率開關。它的自動調節電路容許各個 LED 串之間存在不同的電壓，輸出電壓 PWM 調節迴路會將各 LED 引腳的電壓調整至最低 0.6V 以滿足電流調整的需要。在工作期間， RT8561 自動對每個 LED 串的未連接和/或開路狀況進行檢測並斷開有問題的通道，避免出現可能的輸出電壓 V<sub>OUT</sub> 過壓狀況。誤差範圍在 1.5% 以內的各 LED 通道電流可以簡單地通過一隻電阻或是電流吸出方式進行設定。RT8561 既支援類比調光，也支援數位控制的 PWM 調光。類比調光可由外部電壓實現線性控制。借助內置的輸出限幅放大器和 300kΩ 電阻， PWM 調光信號可以很容易地借助一隻外加電容形成的低通濾波器轉化為類比調光信號實現無閃爍的 PWM 調光。具有很高對比的純數位式 PWM 調光可以通過在 PWM 引腳施加 PWM 信號予以實現。RT8561 的保護特性包括可程式設計輸出電壓過壓保護、 LED 電流限制、PWM 開關電流限制和過熱關機功能。RT8561 的封裝是 WQFN-24L 4x4。
