RT9285 是集成了續流二極體的高頻、非同步 Boost 架構轉換器，可用於驅動2~5只串聯連接的白光 LED 或是為 OLED 供電。它的內部集成了軟啟動功能以降低衝擊電流，在 1MHz 的固定頻率下工作，因而可以使用小型的外部元件，解決 EMI 問題也很簡單。IC 的過壓保護點設定在 20V，容許使用價格適宜的、較低耐壓等級的小型輸出電容。LED 電流可用外部電流檢測電阻 R<sub>SET</sub> 進行設定，其回饋電壓為 250mV 。RT9285 的封裝是小型的 TSOT-23-6 、 2mm x 2mm 的 WDFN-8L 和 XDFN-8L，在使用中可以節省 PCB 空間，保持總成本的最優化。
