RT9450 是低成本的開關模式單節鋰離子/聚合物電池充電器，它將同步 PWM 控制器、功率 MOSFET 開關、輸入電流檢測、高精度電流、電壓調節和充電終止等功能全部集成在單晶片中，同時具有支援 USB-OTG 應用的能力，非常適合空間小巧的可擕式產品使用。它以優化的演算法完成充電任務，可以根據不同的模式改變充電速率，其中包括了預充模式、快充模式和恒壓充電模式。所有的充電參數均可通過 I<sup>2</sup>C 介面進行控制，其中就包括了充電截止的最低電流閾值、提供安全備份的具有復位控制能力的安全計時器、向主機報告充電狀態的指示器等。在正常操作期間，一旦電池電壓下降到低於內設的閾值，RT9450 即自動重啟充電迴圈；若輸入電源被移除，它就自動進入睡眠模式。它還具有欠壓保護、過壓保護、溫度調整和過冷/過溫保護、反向漏電保護等特性。其封裝為 WL-CSP-20B 2x2(BSC)。
