RT9528 是一款經由 I<sup>2</sup>C 匯流排介面進行控制的、包含自動電源路徑管理功能和 USB/AV 信號切換開關的單節鋰離子電池充電 IC。它在使用時無需使用任何外置的 MOSFET ，是一款全集成化產品。在使用中，當外部電源被移除時，RT9528 自動進入睡眠模式。借助使用優化的控制邏輯，RT9528 在完成充電任務時會自動選擇使用預充電模式、快充電模式和恒壓充電模式，它的充電結束條件、安全計時器、充電電流和 V<sub>SYS</sub> 都可經由 I<sup>2</sup>C 控制介面進行控制。RT9528 對電池包、充電器和輸入電路提供了各種保護，其中包括過流、欠壓、過壓、熱調節和熱保護。透過序列介面，充電的各種狀態和故障情況都可以被監控到。在任何可用工作溫度範圍內，充電的速率都可通過內部溫度回饋電路實現最優化的調節。</br>建議的接面溫度範圍為-40°C至125°C，而環境溫度範圍則為-40°C至85°C。
