RT9531 是一款 PWM 開關式電池充電控制器，可用於單節或多節鋰離子電池、鎳氫電池及鎳鎘電池的快速充電應用，支援定電流及定電壓充電模式。最大充電電流可透過外接電阻輕鬆設定，而定電壓輸出模式可支援最多四節鋰離子電池充電，電壓精度可達 ±0.5%。 RT9531 內建第三組控制迴路，可限制充電期間從電源轉接器汲取的輸入電流。此功能可讓系統設備在正常運作的同時進行電池快速充電，而不會造成轉接器過載，提高整體系統的使用彈性。 RT9531 可為電壓範圍介於 2.5V 至 4.2V 的電池進行充電，且壓差電壓最低僅需 0.4V。由於充電器在外部轉接器拔除後會自動進入僅 10μA 的睡眠模式，因此不需於電池串接防逆流二極體，可減少元件數量並提升效率。 當充電電流下降至設定快速充電電流的 20% 時，RT9531 會透過邏輯輸出訊號指示鋰離子電池已充飽，方便系統進行充電狀態監控與管理。
