RT2657是一款高效率的脈寬調變（PWM）降壓型DC/ DC轉換器，能在寬輸入電壓2.7V至5.5V範圍下，提供600mA輸出電流。RT2657非常適合於那些由單節鋰離子電池或其他電源來供電的可攜式電子裝置，如手機，PDA，手持裝置，遊戲機及相關配件。有低R<sub>DS(ON)</sub>的內部同步整流器能顯著降低PWM模式時的導通損耗。在實際應用中，無需外部蕭基二極體。當正常的脈衝 - 寬度模式不能提供穩定的輸出電壓時，RT2657會進入低壓差模式而連續導通高側的P-MOSFET。當EN接腳為低電位時，RT2657會進入電源關閉模式，僅消耗小於5μA的電流。由於操作頻率固定在 2.25MHz，開關切換造成的漣波很容易藉小尺寸的過濾元件而過濾掉。RT2657採用小型WDFN-6SL 2x2封裝。
