RT2856是一款高效率、單晶同步降壓型DC/DC轉換器，在4.5V~18V的輸入電壓範圍可提供最高為6A的輸出電流。RT2856 使用外部補償的電流模式控制架構，在很寬的負載範圍和輸出電容配置下都可得到最佳的瞬態回應。它採用逐週期電流限制措施對抗輸出短路帶來的影響，其軟啟動功能可消除啟動過程中輸入電流衝擊。其故障保護措施包括輸出欠壓保護、輸出過壓保護和過熱保護。低電流消耗之電源關閉模式可完全關斷輸出，有助於簡化電池供電系統的電源管理。
