RT3601EA是內建驅動器的IMVP8相容CPU電源PWM控制器，採用立錡專有的、以有限直流增益誤差放大器為基礎的電流模式的G-NAVP™ (Green-Native AVP) 控制技術，具有易於設定輸出電壓隨載下降參數以滿足 Intel CPU對動態電壓定位（Active Voltage Positioning, AVP）的需求。由於採用G-NAVP™控制技術，RT3601EA在負載發生瞬態變化時具有快速回應機制以優化AVP性能。它在各種不同的運行狀態下都具有支援模式轉換的能力，內建的串列通訊介面可與使用Intel IMVP8介面的CPU進行通訊，可以快、慢和自然變化三種不同的速度支援VID的即時變化。即使工作於電流連續模式之下，其工作頻率也可根據VID、負載和輸入電壓的不同而自然變化以使其轉換效率最大化。它在整個輸入、輸出範圍內的輸出電壓紋波因使用CCRCOT（Constant Current Ripple COT, 固定電流紋波COT）技術而有卓越的表現，其內建的高精度DAC可將其收到的VID編碼轉換為0.25V~1.52V的輸出電壓，級差僅為5mV;而內建的高精度ADC則用於完成各種平臺功能的設定。它提供了VR Ready輸出信號，具有過壓保護、負壓保護、過流保護和欠壓鎖定保護等各種保護功能，以WQFN-28L 4x4封裝形式出貨。
