RT4812 可讓系統充分利用新型電池化學特性，即使電池電壓低於系統電源 IC 所需電壓時，仍能提供可觀能量。透過結合內建功率電晶體、同步整流與低供應電流，此 IC 可為採用先進鋰離子電池化學技術的系統提供精巧解決方案。RT4812 是一款升壓穩壓器，設計用於從單顆鋰離子電池提供最低輸出電壓，即使電池電壓低於系統最低需求時亦可運作。在升壓模式下，於最高 2.1A 負載電流時仍可保證輸出電壓調節。關斷模式下的靜態電流低於 1μA，可最大化電池壽命。建議接面溫度範圍為 −40°C 至 125°C，環境溫度範圍為 −40°C 至 85°C。
