RT5721 是一款降壓開關穩壓器，可透過 2.5V 至 5.5V 的輸入電源提供數位可程式輸出。 輸出電壓透過工作頻率高達 3.4MHz 的 I<SUP>2</SUP>C 介面進行程式設計。</br>RT5721 採用具有同步整流功能的專有架構，能夠以超過 80% 的效率連續提供 1A 電流，並在負載電流低至 10mA 時保持該效率。 此穩壓器以 2.4MHz 的標稱固定頻率運行，從而減少了外部組件的(電感值/電容值)。 可以添加額外的輸出電容來改善負載瞬態期間的調節，而不影響穩定性。</br>在中等負載和輕負載下，脈衝頻率調變 (PFM) 用於在省電模式下運行，室溫下的典型靜態電流為 45μA。 即使靜態電流如此低，此裝置在大負載波動期間仍能表現出優異的瞬態響應。 當負載較高時，系統會自動切換至固定頻率控制，工作頻率為 2.4MHz。 在關斷模式下，電源電流降至 1μA 以下，進而降低功耗。 如果需要固定頻率，可以停用 PFM 模式。 RT5721 採用小型 WL-CSP-11B 1.31x1.62 (BSC) 封裝。
