RT6150A/B是高效率的、以固定頻率工作的Buck-Boost轉換器，可在輸入電壓高於、低於或等於輸出電壓的條件下工作，其內部架構使之能在各種工作模式之間平滑轉換，成為單節鋰離子電池、多節鹼性電池或鎳氫電池應用中的理想選擇，這些場合的輸出電壓介於電池電壓變化範圍內。</br>器件包含實現高效工作的兩個N-MOSFET開關和兩個P-MOSFET開關，工作頻率設定於1MHz，有利於減小外部元件尺寸。其靜態電流消耗在節能模式下僅有60μA，可使可擕式應用的電池壽命最大化。節能工作模式是可控的，將PS引腳拉低即可實現。假如PS處於高電平，固定工作頻率的工作模式即處於使能狀態。</br>器件還具有關機電流消耗低、內置軟起動、熱關機保護和電流限制保護等特性，RT6150A的封裝形式為WDFN-10L 3x3，RT6150B的封裝形式為WDFN-10L 2.5x2.5。
