RT6158A 是高效率的單電感 Buck-Boost 轉換器，可在輸入電壓範圍為 2.5V-5V 的高於或低於輸出電壓的條件下工作，負載能力可達 2A。其功率開關最大峰值電流限制值為 4.5A (典型值)，內部回饋電路對 Buck、Boost 運作模式均提供補償，兩種模式之間的切換平滑無縫，具有最優的瞬態回應特性。</br>在低功率應用中，RT6158A 以脈衝頻率調製 (PFM) 模式工作以提高效率，此模式可被禁用以強制其在 2MHz 的固定開關頻率運行。可用 2.2MHz-2.6MHz 的外部時鐘信號強迫它同步運行。其輸出電壓可用電阻分壓器進行設定，設定範圍為 2.1V-5.2V。
