RT7753GEN系列產品的設計目標是與類似RT7202的控制器配合以提供一個使用USB電源傳輸（USB PD）協議的或可程式控制的電源適配器，它具備高效電源的控制架構，待機功耗極低，5V輸出的待機功耗低於50mW。<Br>RT7753GEN使用諸多全新的技術來確保獲得寬範圍的輸出電壓，如（1）通過使用DMAG引腳對輸出電壓進行檢測並調節系統的環路增益，改變不同輸出電壓下的過壓保護閾值以實現對外部器件的保護，調節電流限制閾值以符合功率有限電源的安全需求；（2）具有完整的保護特性，其中包括大電容Brown-in/Brown-out保護、VDD過壓保護、輸出過壓/欠壓保護、次級整流器短路保護和外部溫度過高保護；（3）為實現恒定輸出功率調節，連接在CS引腳的一隻電阻可在全輸入電壓範圍內對輸入進行補償；（4）具備多種保護特性以應對次級側的元件如RT7202、分流式調節器等的失效可能帶來的風險。<Br>在實際的應用中，建議將RT7753GEN與二次側控制器RT7202共同使用以構成可靠、強壯又安全的設計，以便能面對諸如設備、電纜、插頭、插座等各種可能的錯誤連接狀況。
