RT7758M 系列是一款可於連續導通模式（CCM, Continuous Conduction Mode）或準諧振模式（QR Mode, Quasi-Resonant Mode）下運作的控制器，專為搭配 RT7216KNE 等控制器而設計，可提供完整的 USB Power Delivery（USB PD）或可程式化電源供應器（Programmable Power Adapter）解決方案。RT7758M 不僅具備高效率電源控制架構，亦可在 5V 待機條件下將待機功耗降低至 50mW，以滿足低待機功耗設計需求。 RT7758M 採用多項創新技術以支援寬範圍輸出電壓應用。透過 DMAG 腳位感測輸出電壓，可調整控制迴路增益以維持系統穩定性，同時調整輸出過壓保護（OVP）門檻值以保護外部設備，並調整電流限制以符合限制功率來源（LPS, Limited Power Source）安全規範要求。 此外，RT7758M 內建完整保護功能，包括大電容輸入欠壓啟動/關機保護（Bulk-Capacitor Brown-In/Brown-Out Protection）、VDD 過壓保護（VDD OVP）、輸出過壓/欠壓保護（Output OVP/UVP）、次級整流器短路保護（SRSP, Secondary Rectifier Short-Circuit Protection）以及外部過溫保護（External OTP），以提升系統安全性與可靠性。 在定功率輸出應用中，可透過於 CS 腳位外接電阻，實現全輸入電壓範圍內的精準線路補償（Line Compensation）。RT7758M 亦提供多項保護機制，以避免 RT7216KNE 或分流穩壓器等次級側元件發生故障時對系統造成影響。 實際應用上，建議 RT7758M 搭配 RT7216KNE 次級控制器使用，以實現穩健且安全的電源設計，並有效避免因不同裝置、線材、插頭或插座錯誤連接所導致的潛在故障狀況。 建議接面溫度範圍為 -40°C 至 125°C，環境溫度範圍為 -40°C 至 85°C。
