RT7786 系列專為搭配 RT7207 等控制器而設計，以提供 USB PD 或可程式化電源轉接器的完整解決方案。RT7786 能夠實現高效率效能、符合安全標準，並具備低待機功耗，在 5V 待機條件下通常低於 30mW。RT7786 提供多項創新功能，以提供具備寬範圍輸出電壓的解決方案。透過使用 DMAG 腳位，RT7786 可感測輸出電壓，以調整迴路增益來維持系統穩定性、調整輸出過壓的臨界電壓以保護外部裝置，並調整電流限制以符合 Limited Power Source (LPS) 安全要求。RT7786 亦配備完整的保護功能，包括 brown-in/brown-out 保護、VDD 過壓保護 (VDD OVP)、輸出過壓 / 欠壓保護 (Output OVP/UVP)、二次側整流器短路保護 (SRSP)，以及外部過溫保護 (External OTP)。對於具備恆定輸出功率調節的應用，可使用連接至 CS 腳位的電阻，在通用輸入電壓範圍內實現精準的線路補償。RT7786 亦提供多種功能，以防止二次側元件（例如 RT7207 或分流穩壓器）發生故障。由於各種裝置、纜線、插頭與插座的連接方式多樣且未知，RT7786 與 RT7207 可搭配使用，以實現堅固且安全的設計，防止所有潛在故障情境。
