RT7880 是一款 USB Type-C Power Delivery (USB-C PD) 與 PWM 升降壓控制器，透過特定功能的高度整合與靈活性，適用於 USB PD provider 應用。此 IC 內嵌 ARM Cortex<sup>TM</sup>-M0 MCU，可處理通訊協定的各種功能、PWM 轉換器的智慧控制、基於韌體的保護功能，以及客製化功能。此 IC 具備基於硬體的保護功能，例如電感峰值電流限制、VBUS 過壓保護 (VBUS OVP)、VO 欠壓保護 (VO UVP)，以及 VCONN 電流限制保護，因此這些保護功能具備更快速的響應，即使 MCU 未啟動時仍可正常運作。RT7880 因此可為 USB-PD Provider 應用提供優異的 USB PD 解決方案，並具備最少外部元件與簡易 PCB 佈局。
