RT8010/A是高效同步Buck轉換器，負載能力1A，可在2.5V~5.5V輸入電壓範圍內工作，特別適合單節鋰離子電池或類似電源供電的行動電話、PDA和其他掌上型設備使用。它可以PWM、低壓降的直通模式和關機模式工作，內部使用低R<SUB>DS(ON)</SUB>同步整流開關，損耗低，效率高，無需外加肖特基二極體。</br>當普通的PWM工作模式不能維持輸出電壓的穩定時，RT8010/A持續打開上橋P-MOSFET，使之進入低壓降的直通模式工作。當EN引腳被拉為低電平時，RT8010/A進入關機模式，電流消耗下降至0.1μA以下。</br>由於使用1.5MHz固定工作頻率，使用小封裝的濾波元件即可將開關工作產生的紋波控制在非常低的水準上。再加上使用WDFN-6L 2x2和WQFN-16L 3x3的小封裝，它在應用中的PCB佔用面積非常小。它還具有軟起動、2%精度的內部參考電壓、過熱保護、過流保護等特性。
