RT8012A為PWM雙通道同步降壓型DC/DC 轉換器，輸入電壓範圍從2.6V至5.5V，可調的輸出電壓範圍0.8V至5V，輸出電流可達2A。操作在固定頻率1.2MHz，可適用於採用價格較低廉、較小尺寸的電容與電感元件的應用電路設計中。雙通道的降壓型DC/DC 轉換器內建低導通阻的功率開關，增進了整體效率並減少了需要外加蕭特基二極體的必要性。RT8012A藉由近100%責任週期的操作提供了低壓差轉換的應用可有效延長掌上型裝置的電池使用壽命，並具備了致能控制與電源良好信號指示腳位元，可在一般的應用中，簡易的控制兩組轉換器的啟動順序。
