RT8152E/F 是集成了 MOSFET 驅動器的、符合 Intel IMVP6.5 電壓調節器規範的、可為移動 CPU 內核和圖像渲染器內核供電的單相 PWM 控制器。它採用了立錡專有的、基於有限直流增益補償器的固定導通時間模式的 G-NAVP (Green-Native AVP) 控制技術，使之成為易於使用的 PWM 控制器以滿足 Intel AVP（Active Voltage Positioning, 動態電壓定位）移動CPU/圖像渲染器的需要。其輸出電壓由7位元的 VID 碼進行設定，內建的高精度 DAC 轉換器可將 VID 碼轉換為0V~1.5V的輸出電壓，電壓級差為 12.5mV ，其系統控制精度可達1.5%。晶片支援 VID 碼的動態改變，也支援工作模式的動態改變，完全符合 IMVP6.5 的規格。它可工作在單相模式和二極體管模擬模式，在不同的負載條件下，不同的模式可是效率高達90%。其負載變化造成的電壓降變化所形成的負載線可以被很容易地設定，這可通過對誤差放大器的支流增益的改變來完成。借助適當的補償，負載瞬變造成的回應之特性可達成優化 AVP 性能表現的效果。晶片的軟起動過程和電壓轉移速率可通過一隻電容進行調節，它還支持 DCR 和電阻電流檢測兩種電流檢測方式。RT8152E/F 按照 IMVP6.5 規範圖像渲染處理器的需要提供電源準備好和熱調節輸出信號，還有附加的時鐘使能信號滿足 CPU 內核的需求。它也同時具有完備的故障保護功能，這包括了過壓保護、欠壓保護、負壓保護、過流保護和熱關機保護等。它的封裝是小型的 WQFN-32L 5x5 的規格。
