RT8237E 是高性能的 PWM 控制器，可將筆記型電腦電池高電壓轉換為低電壓為 CPU 內核、I/O 介面、晶片組和記憶體供電，具備效率高、瞬態回應特性好、輸出電壓精度高等特性。</br>它採用固定導通時間的 PWM 控制架構，可在很寬的輸入、輸出電壓比範圍內工作，對負載瞬變具有 100ns 的“即時”回應速度，同時維持幾乎恒定的工作頻率。使用中無需像傳統電流模式 PWM 控制器那樣需要使用電流檢測電阻，降低了成本，提高了效率。具備強大的同步整流 MOSFET 驅動能力，輕載條件下即進入二極體模擬模式工作，效率得到最大化改善，可以高效率將電池高電壓直接轉換為低電壓。它採用預先設定的工作頻率，簡化了設計工作壓力。</br>RT8237E 的主要用途是為 CPU 內核、晶片組、DRAM 或其他電壓低達 0.7V 的負載供電，其封裝形式為 WDFN-10L 3x3。
