RT8243A/B/C 是兩路降壓的開關模式電源供應控制器，用於在電池供電的系統中完成邏輯系統的電源供應。它包含了兩組輸出電壓在 2V~5V 範圍內可調的 PWM 控制器和兩組固定輸出（5V/3.3V）的線性穩壓器，其中一組電路（LDO5）的輸入具有自動切換到 BYP1 輸入以連接到主電源 SMPS1 輸出以獲取最高效率的功能。可選的外部電荷泵電路的輸出電壓可通過 SECFB 端子進行監控（僅 RT8243B/C 可用）。此外，板上電源上電時序控制、Power Good 輸出、內置軟啟動、預防負電壓出現的關機期間軟放電功能等特性也被集成在該晶片中。無需使用電流檢測電阻的固定導通時間 PWM 控制架構可在維持基本固定的工作頻率情況下確保快速的瞬態回應能力。為消除應用中的音訊雜訊，設計中包含了超聲工作模式，它可維持 25kHz 以上的工作頻率。在輕載模式下，有二極體模擬模式可使效率最大化。SMPS1/SMPS2 的開關切換頻率可在 200kHz/233kHz~400kHz/466kHz 之間分別進行調節。RT8243A/B/C 的封裝是 WQFN-20L 3x3，可在 -40°C ~ 85°C 的擴展溫度範圍內工作。
