RT8270為允許高電壓輸入的降壓型 DC/DC 轉換器，當輸入範圍4.75V 至22V時，輸出電流可達2A，其電流模式的操作提供快速的暫態回應與簡易的迴路穩定架構，此外並提供了逐週期形式的限流機制與熱關斷保護功能。操作于關機模式時，只有25μA的低電流消耗。RT8270採用SOP-8的封裝規格。
