RT8479 是一款兩級式 LED 控制器，內建雙功率 MOSFET，架構由第一級升壓轉換器與第二級降壓轉換器所組成。此兩級式拓撲可大幅提升對電子變壓器的相容性，並提供極佳的功率因數表現，因此特別適用於 MR16 與 AR111 LED 照明應用。 第一級升壓轉換器負責提供穩定的定電壓輸出，並具備電感峰值電流過電流保護功能，以提升系統安全性與可靠性。第二級降壓轉換器則透過峰值電流控制方式實現定電流輸出，可提供精準的 LED 驅動電流控制。 RT8479 內建雙組閘極驅動器，可直接驅動內部功率 MOSFET，進一步簡化外部電路設計並降低系統成本。 RT8479 採用 SOP-8 裸露散熱焊盤封裝，可兼顧散熱效能與小型化設計需求。
