RT8509是高性能的開關模式Boost轉換器，目的是為動態矩陣薄膜電晶體液晶顯示幕提供穩定的電源供應。它採用電流模式控制架構、固定工作頻率的脈寬調製（PWM）電路，集成了N-MOSFET開關，轉換效率高，瞬態回應速度快。其輸入電壓範圍為2.8V~14V，使用外接電阻分壓器進行調節的輸出電壓最高達24V，最大峰值電流限制典型值為3.5A，具有可調軟起動、過壓保護、過熱保護等特性。其封裝為WDFN-10L 3x3。
