RT8510 是用於 WLED 的高效驅動器，被設計用於 LCD 屏的 WLED 背光源的驅動，在設計上包含了一個電流模式 Boost 架構的控制器和可驅動4串 LED、每串串聯達 12 只 WLED 的電流源。RT8510 的4路電流源的電流匹配誤差最大值為±2%，為獲得良好的亮度一致性創造了條件。而為了保證所有電流源在面臨不同的 LED 串電壓誤差時都能正常地工作，它的 Boost轉換器會對所有 LED 串進行檢測並挑選回饋電壓最低的通道作為電壓控制的指標，經過適當選擇的電壓也能同時確保最佳的轉換效率。</br>RT8510 的輸入電壓範圍寬達 4.2V~24V，各 LED 串的電流可在 10mA~40mA 之間進行調節。其耐壓達 43V 的功率開關導通內阻只有 200mΩ，電流模式控制器還提供了逐週期過電流保護功能。RT8510 還集成了 PWM 調光功能以實現精確的 LED 電流控制，用於調光的 PWM 信號頻率範圍可達 120Hz~30kHz，調光過程不會在 LED 或電感中造成任何電流衝擊。RT8510 的工作頻率在 500kHz~2MHz 之間可調，容許使用者在效率和元件尺寸的平衡上做出靈活選擇。</br>RT8510 的封裝是 WQFN-16L 3x3 。
