RT8567 是一款高效率的白光 LED 驅動器，設計用於驅動一個 LED 陣列作為 LCD 屏的背光源。它包含一個電流模式 Boost 轉換器，用於驅動多達6個並聯連接的 LED 串，每串 LED 可以是多達12只 LED 的串聯，與每串 LED 連接的電流源的吸入电流匹配誤差在最大 ±2% 以內，確保各 LED 串之間的亮度一致性。為了給電流源吸入电流的操作預留足夠的空間，Boost 控制器對各個回饋引腳中的最低電壓進行監測並進行調節，同時確保得到一個最優的轉換效率。RT8567 的輸入電壓範圍寬達 2.7V~24V ，能夠輸出可調的 5mA~40mA 的 LED 電流，內部 250mΩ 、43V 的功率開關以電流控制模式提供逐週期過流保護。 RT8567 還集成了 PWM 調光功能以獲得精確的 LED 電流控制，輸入的 PWM 調光信號頻率可在 200Hz~25kHz 之間，調光過程不會造成任何流過 LED 或電感的衝擊電流。 RT8567 的開關切換工作頻率在 500kHz~2MHz 之間可調，這提供了效率和元件尺寸選擇上的靈活性。RT8567 可以很薄的 WQFN-20L 3x3 封裝形式供貨。
